hate-read

/ˈheɪt riːd/

Common

Reading content you dislike or find irritating, specifically for the feeling of being annoyed by it.

There is usually some self-awareness involved. Hate-readers often admit what they are doing. The motivation is part rubbernecking, part feeling superior, part genuine compulsion.
