Public browsing
The dictionary is designed to be browsed without creating an account. Standard hosting and security logs may record technical request information such as an IP address, user agent, requested page, and time of access.
Analytics
slang.fyi uses Google Analytics to understand page visits and how people navigate the dictionary. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, referral, and interaction information according to its own privacy terms. Analytics is used to improve the website, not to sell personal profiles.
Saved terms
When you save a term, the selection is stored in your browser. It is not uploaded by the current static website.
Search
Search runs in the browser against the published dictionary. Search text is not sent to a slang.fyi application server by the current static implementation.
External services
Cloudflare provides hosting, security, and performance services. Google provides audience measurement. These services may process technical request data under their own terms and applicable law.
Changes
This policy will be reviewed whenever accounts, advertising, server-side submissions, or other data-collecting features are introduced.
