fruity
/ˈfruː.ti/
CommonQueer, or having an obviously queer energy. Used affectionately within LGBTQ+ communities.
Reclaimed word. Within queer spaces it is a warm in-group term. Outside those spaces or directed at someone by a non-queer person it can land as mockery. Tone is almost always playful when used self-referentially.
