CommonA long opinion article or thread that analyzes a cultural moment in depth, often with a strong point of view.
Often used critically. A think piece that doesn't land is usually called out for being pretentious, overly long, or missing the point entirely. 'Written a think piece about it' is sometimes used to mock people who overanalyze simple things.
